Grenof water management innovators named clean technology winner at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards

Grenof a leader in water and wastewater management has won the Clean Technology large business category at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards for its teamwork, business management, innovation and focus on future growth.

The award recognises Grenof for its outstanding leadership of the local industry and its own contribution to the talent and high calibre of business throughout the QLD region and beyond.

“I’m proud of the hard work the team has shown to not only develop and implement new clean technology but in also challenging the status quo within the water industry” CEO Jason Brooks said.

“Grenof has been able to show success in innovative and clean technology and works for councils, utilities and other customers across Australia in water and waste treatment, asset management and renewable energy.

“Our partnerships with Universities, suppliers and large customers such as Unitywater has been the key to our early business growth success and we pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service.

“Winning this award means so much to our staff and their dedication to our business goals and growth. We were so excited even to be nominated by our customers, and to win amongst such great local clean technology businesses has really helped motivate us to continue to focus on achieving our goals.”

This was the first year that Grenof entered the business awards, and the local Sunshine Coast company is working towards growing bigger nationally and entering the international network.

“Grenof now partners with multiple international companies to assist in bringing clean technology here to Australia and developing Australian improvements to integrate into our sectors.”

Awards Chair Jennifer Swaine said this year’s winners were an impressive group of business leaders representing industries from throughout theSunshineCoast, Noosa and the hinterland.

“It’s never easy for the judging panels and this year has again proven how strongly our region performs across a wide range of award categories,” she said.

“The quality and diversity of all of the entries across each of the awards was exceptional and truly eye opening; proof that our region is progressive and thriving.”
